An evening to celebrate 10 years of operations
May 2022 marked 10 years of Airmedic.
To mark the occasion, on May 19, we hosted a cocktail reception for our partners, members, employees, and stakeholders. Everyone who contributes to the company’s sustainability on a daily basis was invited. Many people attended the event.
We were honored to welcome Catherine Fournier, mayor of Longueuil, Chantal Rouleau, member of parliament for Pointe-aux-Trembles and minister responsible for transportation, and Ian Lafrenière, minister of Indigenous affairs, who sent a video message. Many other long-standing Airmedic partners were also in attendance.
Becoming a leader and benchmark in air and helicopter medical transport
In 2012, we made the bold decision to position ourselves as a leader and benchmark in air and helicopter medical transport in Quebec. Today, we can say: mission accomplished. We celebrate not only our achievements, but also the trust of our partners and members.

6,000 interventions and 10,338 patients
Our more than 6,000 interventions and 10,338 patients transported throughout Quebec attest to our ability to adapt to the air medical environment and demonstrate the true operational strength that characterizes us. For ten years, our team has been building a solid operational force in the air medical field.
Airmedic’s growth and service offering show no signs of slowing down. In fact, since 2019, the number of interventions has jumped by 300 per year. This continuous and sustainable development is another sign of our commitment to the Quebec air medical community. It is based on the professionalism of our teams and the trust we have established with our partners.
Whether we are dealing with hunters, fishermen, indigenous communities, corporate clients, or government partners, our commitment to excellence remains the same. On the occasion of Airmedic’s tenth anniversary, we are proud to represent a strong and committed player in our industry.
Thank you to everyone who has contributed to the 10 years of Airmedic.
Of course, we would be nothing without our team.
Thank you to everyone who puts their talent to work every day to further our mission. Your commitment helps provide fast, coordinated, and compassionate care throughout Quebec.
I would like to personally thank our 175 employees for their commitment to serving Quebecers in all regions.
I would also like to thank all our partners.
First and foremost, the members of the First Nations and communities we serve. Our partnership enriches us culturally every day. We are proud to be a positive force in reconciliation between nations. We make a special effort to ensure a better understanding of the issues through our cultural security committee.
Thank you to our corporate partners. We have had the privilege of working alongside you for a long time, but more intensely over the past two years. Your presence here demonstrates the importance of the mutual respect that drives us.
Finally, thank you to our members. It is thanks to you that this adventure began ten years ago.
Headquarters announcement
We look back with pride. However, we look to the future with confidence.
In order to meet the challenges ahead, we must equip ourselves with infrastructure that meets the needs of the future.
This includes, among other things, the government’s desire to expand helicopter service, pre-hospital and inter-hospital care, as well as increasing air service for Indigenous communities and corporate partnerships.
In order to position ourselves for the next 20 years, Airmedic is announcing the construction of a new head office in Saint-Hubert. This major project will house all the equipment needed to transport and care for patients served by Airmedic. The groundbreaking ceremony for the new complex will take place in June 2022. The complex will be fully operational in 2023.

A vision for the next 10 years
Our goal is to maintain and adapt an efficient, safe, and responsive medical assistance service for all situations, both in Quebec and internationally, at all times, for decades to come.
Our vision for the future reflects the same boldness as ten years ago, as we announce this new phase, which will be an integral part of our development plan, in order to continue to surpass ourselves and offer the best possible service throughout Quebec.
