St-Hubert, December 15, 2025<\/strong> \u2014 For a fifth consecutive year, Airmedic organized its annual collection drive of food, toys, and clothing to support the St-Hubert community. In support of this initiative, Dessercom donated a total of $4,500 to three local organizations: Moisson Rive-Sud, La Joujouth\u00e8que, and, for the first time, Provisions communautaires. <\/p>\n\n

The event was held in the presence of Ian Lafreni\u00e8re, Minister Responsible for Relations with First Nations and Inuit, Minister of Public Security, and Member of the National Assembly for the Vachon riding, as well as Sylvain Lambert, Deputy Mayor and City Councillor for the Vieux-Saint-Hubert\u2013La Savane district.<\/p>\n\n

Each month, Moisson Rive-Sud provides assistance to 103,628 people, 40% of whom are children. This increase of more than 15% compared to 2024 highlights a troubling reality: food insecurity now affects a broad segment of the population, including families, seniors, and individuals living alone.In 2025, a total of 332,222 requests for food assistance were met by Moisson Rive-Sud through a network of 152 responding community organizations. This situation underscores the urgent need to strengthen available resources to meet a large and growing demand\u2014not only for food, but also for essential goods such as clothing. <\/p>\n\n

Through this financial and material support, the company aims to assist key local organizations and provide tangible support to families in vulnerable situations.” <\/p>\n\n

The event was also marked by the presence of Les Cuisiniers Diff\u00e9rents, whose mission is to promote the social and professional integration of individuals with differences\u2014particularly young adults with intellectual disabilities\u2014by focusing on their personal development and empowerment. By preparing a festive meal during the presentation of donated food and gifts, Les Cuisiniers Diff\u00e9rents served as a reminder that solidarity is also built around the table. <\/p>\n\n
