New career opportunities for pilots at Airmedic<\/h2>\n

Jazz Aviation<\/a><\/span>, a subsidiary of Chorus Aviation<\/span><\/a>, now includes Airmedic in its Jazz Aviation Pathways<\/a><\/span> program. This program offers new development prospects for Airmedic pilots. It enables Airmedic to develop and guide pilots towards commercial transport at the right time in their careers.<\/p>\n

Through this agreement, Airmedic identifies pilots with the potential, people skills and know-how to become commercial pilots with Jazz. The company accompanies them on their journey and facilitates their access to an interview with Jazz.<\/p>\n

Developing your flying career<\/h2>\n

As a Quebec-based air medical transport company, Airmedic trains pilots to work in difficult weather conditions and emergency situations. Since 2012, more than 9,000 missions have resulted from its operations, and just as many lives saved.<\/p>\n

From Chisasibi to Blanc-Sablon, pilots develop valuable expertise on the Pilatus PC-12. As a result, this experience gives them a solid base from which to progress to larger aircraft and commercial transport. It is exactly the kind of foundation the Jazz Aviation Pathways program looks for when preparing pilots to transition to commercial airlines.<\/p>\n

Jazz Aviation, operator for Air Canada Express, serves Canada and the United States. With over 79 destinations, 4,500 employees and 460 daily flights, Jazz is a major opportunity for pilots looking to boost their careers. A unique program in Quebec dedicated to Airmedic pilots \"Jazz<\/h2>\n

Airmedic remains the only private airline to have such an agreement with Jazz. Interested pilots participate in the program on a voluntary basis. Together, Airmedic and Jazz define a development profile, allowing direct access to an interview with the Jazz team.<\/p>\n

The aim is to support pilots’ professional development, but also to propel them towards new challenges when the time comes.<\/p>\n
