By combining aviation precision, medical expertise, and compassionate care, Airmedic ensured not only that a patient reached her destination, but that two lives were given the best possible chance. <\/strong><\/p>

One evening, Airmedic\u2019s operations team<\/a> received an urgent request: a 23-week-pregnant woman in Bermuda was experiencing contractions. Since the local hospital lacked specialized care for such extreme prematurity<\/a>, every hour was critical. Within minutes, our medical director was in direct discussion with the attending doctor in Bermuda. Together, they confirmed the need for an immediate emergency obstetric air ambulance transfer to a tertiary care center in Toronto, where advanced neonatal intensive care services were available.<\/p>
