Héma-Québec, full of life!
On May 17, Airmedic opened the doors of its hangar to Héma-Québec for a very special blood drive. Organized in partnership with Ian Lafrenière, MNA for Vachon, the event brought together volunteers, donors, and employees in a wave of contagious generosity. A lively Héma-Québec team quickly transformed the space into a fully equipped donation center.
From the start of the day, donors arrived with smiles, fully aware of the importance of their contribution. Each donation directly helps save lives. Minister Lafrenière also joined the event to meet participants, connect with the teams on site, and thank everyone who chose to get involved.
Airmedic and Héma-Québec: A shared mission
Airmedic shares a human-centered mission with Héma-Québec. Together, they show that helping others can take many forms. Donating blood means giving someone, whether a patient, parent, or child, another chance. We are proud to have participated in this initiative, highlighting our shared values: solidarity, altruism, and action.
A well-organized event
The day was expertly coordinated by Éliane Provost, Airmedic’s Director of Business Development. With dedication and energy, she worked closely with Héma-Québec staff and the local constituency to make the event a success. The hangar was set up to welcome participants in an environment that was both professional and warm.
Thanks to the drive, many units of blood were collected. Every bag counts. Every volunteer makes a difference. Each moment shared reflects the spirit of solidarity that drives both organizations. The impact goes far beyond a single day, these donations will support hospitals, clinics, and patients across Québec in the weeks to come.
Continuing the chain of life
Airmedic hopes to repeat this experience soon. You can also contribute to this vital movement. Check Héma-Québec’s upcoming blood drives and join this life-saving chain. Together, we can keep the momentum alive and ensure that hope is always within reach.
