Yes, several resources are available to help you learn about Airmedic services and prepare for a potential emergency. When you renew your membership, stickers and key chains are mailed to you so that your teams can keep them on hand. The Airmedic safety card also provides your teams with several resources; from first aid to preparing a landing site, this card is the ideal tool to have on hand. The water-resistant map, in pocket size, is practical and easy to slip into your pocket, toolbox, or even fishing tackle box.
When the Airmedic helicopter is deployed, the crew on board includes a pilot, a co-pilot and a medical team consisting of two medical experts, a nurse, and a paramedic. Depending on the situation, other resources may also be deployed, such as a respiratory therapist or even a doctor.

Our aircraft are not equipped with winches for air rescues, which means we have to land. If space does not allow the helicopter to land, we can hover close to the ground. In this case, our medical team can be landed with their equipment to provide rapid care.

Helicopters can also land on improvised terrain, such as fields, open roads or other open spaces, provided safety conditions allow.
